Almost by accident, I found out that I could pan Luna’s graphical view horizontally by tilting the mouse wheel of my mouse (some kind of Logitech laser mouse) left and right (from watching
xinput -event button in Linux, I believe these to be called Button6 and Button7), but usually in other applications I would try pan horizontally by pressing and holding Shift while rolling the mouse wheel (Shift-Button4 and Shift-Button5 apparently). Sadly, this doesn’t appear to work in Luna Studio (1.8 beta).
Shift-<mousewheel> support for horizontal panning seems to be somewhat standard nowadays (there are several applications in which I can use it, like Chrome/Chromium, the original Atom editor, LibreOffice etc.), could we please have this nice fallback in Luna Studio as well? People who don’t use touchpads or multi-button mice (and people who just like
Shift-<mousewheel> better) would be very grateful I think.
